Remarkable semainier Louis XVI in solid mahogany and light mahogany composed of five drawers in high part and a double drawer very logeable in low part.
Each drawer has a front interior in mahogany surrounded by a discreet rod with doucine in light mahogany. These open with ring handles with pearl decorated macaron. In the center, we find a brass entrance with a key. Each lock is original and in perfect working order.
The legs of this 18th century piece of furniture are in light mahogany decorated with three stopped flutes. The sides are composed of two mahogany panels slightly recessed from the clear mahogany rails.
The top of this elegant chest is a red Pyrenean marble veined and spotted with white and gray. This original marble, having been polished, has a groove around its edge and has not been broken.
Its ideal dimensions and the marriage of different species of mahogany, make this Louis XVI semainier a rare piece of furniture.
